NEW CLASS - ZUMBA GOLD

This upbeat class with a Latin/Hip Hop feel will get you up on your feet and moving to the beat, but at a much more comfortable pace for Seniors. Come out and join the party!

Fridays @ 10:25 A.M.

  • Cost: $1 for Residents, $2.50 for Non-Residents

Senior Cardio Class

Come and join the crowd!  Stretching, cardiovascular exercise, increased flexibility, balance and toning of muscles, are all done to the toe tapping music of the golden oldies.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M.

Sit & Get Fit

Keep your heart healthy with this low-impact aerobic senior workout program designed for all fitness levels. We incorporate a chair into the workout for standing and seating support – enabling you to push yourself as far as you want.It will improve your strength, mobility and flexibility in an easy-to-follow workout.

Mondays, Wednesdays, and  Fridays 9:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M.

Easy Yoga

Yoga for beginners– Seniors can learn deep breathing and relaxation techniques that will help them remain healthy and active. Movements are designed to increase muscle tone, balance, strength, and improve mood.

Yoga Chair Stretch Class

Yoga/Stretch – Designed to help everyone including those with health issues such as diabetes, obesity, and arthritis. The movements are slow and controlled against a gentle resistance. It is effective for relaxation, health, and fitness. This class combines yoga and traditional stretches. This class is chair assisted for stability. Deep breathing exercises, stretching and mild Yoga poses.

Wednesdays 10:40 A.M. - 11:40 A.M.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that originated in ancient China. Additional advantages of this form of exercise include promoting correct body posture, integrating body and mind; and improving a life energy which governs all functions of the body and is essential for health and vitality.  Tai Chi exercises the entire body and is easy and inexpensive to learn, and is suitable for almost anyone.
